1st Post

Hey all, my name is Brandon and this is my first entry as a writer in the blogging community.  I'm a 20 year old junior attending university at Central Connecticut State and I have real aspirations for writing and connecting with the general public on all types of social, economic and political issues.  I'm interested in almost ALL topics and subject matter, but to simplify I am a big hip hop fan focusing primarily on J.Cole, Kendrick and Kid Cudi while also having a deep appreciation for Gym Class Heroes.  I listen to all types of music (except country sorry) so that means I won't be limited to one genre when it comes to discussion.  I'm a big basketball fan and I used to skate.  I have an unbridled appreciation for art and beauty in different forms and I like expressing myself in multple ways.  I am also a firm believer of karma and universal justice so if you do comment on my blog no negativity please unless you can back it up with an intellectual and thoughtful argument.  I will try to post about different subjects at least once or twice a week and I hope to gain a following within the community.  I also am a generally friendly person so don't be afraid to reach out.  I'm all about communication and connecting through different ideals and beliefs.  Nothing is off-limits here.  Once again glad to be apart of the blogging community and I truly hop I can make some friends along the way as I try to pursue a career in writing.
